Generator Services
Generator Installation — Kingston & Eastern Ontario
Authorized Generac sales and service dealer. Three service paths — so the right option fits where you are in the process. Free site assessment for turnkey installations.
How we work
Three ways to get the system right.
We meet customers where they are. Some want the entire project handled end-to-end. Some want our design and equipment, with their own contractors doing the install. Some have already bought a generator — or are about to — and need our sizing and design before they go further. We've structured our work into three paths so that whichever situation you're in, you're paying for what you actually need — and not for what you don't.
We design it, supply it, install it, commission it.
The traditional path. After your free on-site assessment, we deliver a fixed-price proposal covering every piece of the project: generator, automatic transfer switch, mounting pad, electrical connection, gas connection, ESA permit, final inspection, warranty registration, and commissioning. One accountable provider from the first conversation to commissioning.
We design it and supply the equipment. Your contractors install it.
For homeowners who have their own licensed electrician and prefer to coordinate the install themselves. We supply a complete equipment package built to our design. Your licensed electrician handles the electrical connection. Your licensed gas fitter handles the gas connection.
We're not on site for the install. That's the trade — you get our design and our equipment without paying for our labour.
You have the generator, or you're buying one. We give you the design.
For customers who've already bought a generator or are about to buy from a big-box retailer and need a real design before they start the install. We don't supply equipment — we supply expertise.
Two ways to engage, depending on where you are in the process.
A short phone or video consultation before you buy. We walk through your home, your loads, your fuel source. You leave the call with a sizing recommendation and the questions to ask the retailer. Don't spend thousands on the wrong unit.
You already have the unit. We come to the property, assess the install location, and produce a complete written design specification: transfer switch sizing, install requirements per the 2024 Ontario Electrical Safety Code, gas line requirements, placement, permit requirements, and a scope-of-work document your contractors can quote against.
One note: if you've seen a Generac commercial and want our service, call us directly at 613-929-9679 or use the form on this site. Generac's 1-800 line routes leads through their own distribution system — calling us directly is the surest way to reach us.
Warranty Support
If your generator develops a warranty issue, contact the manufacturer directly — they handle all warranty claims.
A note for Champion owners: Champion, like Generac, specifies maintenance intervals based on operating hours — check your owner's manual or contact Champion support above for the schedule that applies to your unit.
All warranty repairs require the manufacturer's written pre-authorization before we dispatch. If we installed your unit, you're at the front of the line once the manufacturer gives the go-ahead.
How we size every system.
Walk the home
We tour every room and note every load that matters — HVAC, well pump, sump, refrigeration, lighting, critical outlets.
List the real loads
Not a generic estimate. We record starting current (motor loads spike), not just running draw.
Run the calculation
Total calculated load determines the minimum generator size. Fuel source, run time, and budget shape the recommendation.
Recommend the unit
Generac, sized to your home — not the largest model that fits through the gate.
Financing
Don't let budget hold up your power.
Generator installs qualify for financing through Financeit. Check your rate in minutes online — no impact to your credit score, no obligation.
